Stay in The Forest of Dean & Wye Valley

Unique accommodation in a magical setting

There’s so much to see and do in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley that you can’t do it all in a day! The region is ideally located for a staycation from London, Birmingham and beyond, only a couple of hours by car or train. We’ve added a few of the fantastic local accommodation providers here to get you started with building your adventure break.

Hidden Valley Yurts

Tucked away in a secret corner of our beautiful valley, Hidden Valley Yurts is a perfect family getaway. Five gorgeously styled yurts sleeping up to 7 people set in 80 acres of meadow and woodland. Hidden Valley is far from the bright city lights and with just the sounds of birds and a brook for company. Hidden Valley also has a lovely indoor self-catering accommodation: The Lake House.

Brookside Cottage, Llanvapley

This is a lovely air BnB cottage in a quiet village between Monmouth and Abergavenny. There’s plenty of wildlife in the area, as well as a few not-so-wild animals at the property (ducks and horses who love to be fed!)

Beeches Farm Campsite

With a simply stunning view over the Wye Valley, Beeches is a great base for all of your outdoor adventures. Offas Dyke Path runs by the site and it’s a short (but steep) walk down to Tintern Abbey. The site is friendly and welcoming and provides firepits for that warm evening glow.

Hudnalls Hideout

A luxurious treehouse for grown-ups; what’s not to love! The hideout is set within it’s own private 2 acre wood close to the village of St. Briavels and is only open to couples. As unique accommodation goes, it’s pretty hard to beat!

More Options

It’s simply not possible to list all of the amazing b+bs, hotels, campsites and cabins here in the lovely Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. The local tourism association website has a great range of options to suit any individual, family or group.
